In the advanced technological future of the Galactic Milieu, a one way time-gate opens a portal to the pre-historic Pliocene period of Earth's past, roughly six million years ago. The time-gate offers escape, exile, adventure and a new life for those who don't belong or can't cope with the present. Through it go the anachronists, petty criminals, and some of the most interesting misfits of the Galactic Milieu. What they discover is wholly unexpected, and events in the distant past have effects that ripple forward into the future!
