Master is the third Power class for Metapsychic power and the next class for operant metapsychic practitioners above Adept in the Galactic Milieu. Most Masters reach that level based on intensive training after achieving Adept level, but some can achieve it through natural ability. Masters represent around 1% of 1% of all operants, so they are very rare.

To be classified as an Master, a practitioner would need to have high power and precision in one type of metapsychic ability or Adept level in more than one type.

Practitioners can quickly advance in power class if they are evaluated to have a higher than Adept power or proficiency with a metapsychic ability. Otherwise, they will need to train to increase their skill. It is not known how to increase innate power, but it can happen through natural growth or external boosting.
