Paramount or Paramount Grand Master is the fifth and highest Power class for Metapsychic power and the next class for operant metapsychic practitioners above Grand Master in the Galactic Milieu. Paramounts are so uniquely powerful that outside the Lylmik, there are likely less than half a dozen throughout all the Galactic Milieus billions of operants.

To be classified as a Paramount, a practitioner would need effectively be the most powerful and skilled in one type of metapsychic ability or Grand Master level in more than one type. Paramounts have such control and skill that they can often use multiple special abilities at once or in rapid succession in ways almost unimaginable to those who are even Grand Masters.

Although there have been more than a few Paramounts alive at one time (outside the Lylmik), they are so rare that even more than one existing in the same generation is unusual.
